Christmas Events!
We have three Christmas Events coming up soon!
Dec. 1 Christmas Parade
Show up between 5:00 - 5:30.Meet along 2nd street, most likely somewhere between L and J streets. Look for the big present float. Wear full uniform, plus jackets and other outer gear to keep you warm, and prepare for rain if need be. Street closures start at around 4:30pm. Please be prepared for traffic and give yourself extra time to park and find the group. Leaders to check in with: Mr. Rucker / Mr. McDonnell
Dec. 4 Caroling at the Veterans' Home with Santa's Secret Service
Come in full uniform to sing Christmas Carols and help Santa give out presents to the veterans at the home. This event is indoors. Meet at 6:30 at the Veteran's Home in South Livermore (Don't confuse this with the hospital; the home is beyond the hospital and is only a 2 or 3 story building). Directions to the general site can be found here: VA Directions
Dec. 7 Leading the Procession for the Blessing of the Lights at the Casa del Pomba
We lead the color guard and help carry the flags for the procession. Come in full uniform and try to wear warm layers underneath so that your uniform is visible. Meet at 6:00 PM at the intersection of Hillcrest Ave. and Fordham Way. A link for the Christmas display is here: Casa del Pomba Christmas Display
